Orchids

A special day, 36 years later. It’s hard to believe I’ve been married that long. Couldn’t even conceive of such a thing when I made the decision to live with one woman forever. But here I am. What to do?

Something special that’s for sure. And if you like orchids, nothing is be better than taking in an orchid show. Fortunately, there’s no better place to grow orchids than South Florida. And the Port St. Lucie Orchid Society was having their annual show.

What do you think? Disappointed?

I hadn’t been to one. Would it prove a disappointment?

Absolutely not. It was a hit! With

  • surprising varieties
  • beautiful displays
  • introductory classes
  • plenty of vendors
  • and a friendly group of orchid enthusiasts

the only disappointment was leaving.

But not all is lost. Port St Lucie has a small, almost hole in the wall, Thai restaurant. Unlike the orchids, it’s not much to look at. But it has the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. So, it’s time for some Thailand cooking.

Beautiful way to enjoy this special day with my wife.
